what bikes are best for excercise ?

11 Jul

I don’t want to buy a mountain bike. Not sure if I need a bike to lean forward on, or stay upright on. Do I need gears and all that? What should I pay for these? What brands/models should I look for?

How Long Should I Excercise On A Recumbent Bike?

20 Sep

I’m a 22 year-old smoker, I weigh 220 down from 230 about 2 months ago. I used to run on a treadmill for one mile a day. I have since stopped because it is way too difficult being a smoker. (please spare me the responses on quitting)
My weight loss goal is 20 lbs. I believe this is within reach but I would like someone with experience to tell me how long I should pedal per day to get the fastest results. Thanks!
