I would just say be very careful with this bike. Growing up on Schwinn I loved the product in the late 90’s and owned a full suspension Homegrown. For those out to get a great deal this is the bike for you. Just don’t expect it to last much more than 500miles. Now if you are serious about riding that will be about 2 weeks. You do get what you pay for and the problem you are going to run into is obsolete chain store parts. There is a reason a good road bike costs upwards of 3k. I didn’t even think they made a 7 speed bicycle anymore. I know just this year I had a very hard hard time finding an 8 speed cassette replacement. I don’t work for a shop but when I saw this pop up on daily deals I just has to say buyer beware. I would be afraid to ride this even if it was assembled at a good bike shop.

So far the bike is good, I had to do very little repair work out of the box. The bike makes good speed, but no kickstand is kinda stupid. Otherwise, this bike is super light weight and looks great on the road.

I’m new to road biking, but I’ve been mountain biking for quite some time now. The one thing that I’ve learned is that you want to start off with a well built bike that has potential. This is that bike. There are a lot of newer mechanical advances that allows for further upgrades to some of the newest and hottest components on the market. It comes with a 1 1/8″ threadless headset, three piece crankset, rear derailleur hanger and a single bolt seat post. All features are convenient for easy upgrades. Mechanically that bike performs very well. Out of the box assembly was minimal and easy. I’m 5′ 7″ and went with the 54cm model and it fits me great. Once I took it on a quick spin I noticed that the gears needed a little adjusting which almost all bikes due. Ever since it’s been working great. I’ve had no problems with it and I’m already past 100 miles. Last thing I want to leave u with is that bike shops are really the only place to buy these bikes and they start off at around $700. Also if you try to find a good used one chances are the bike is going to be pretty old and still sell for about $400 plus.
