I am looking to purchase the Schwinn Hope scooter, but I need to make sure there’s not a weight restriction on it. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
Is there a weight limit on Schwinn scooters?

Well, how fat are you? I.e., how much do you weigh?
200 lb is really pushing those little bikes, so hopefully you are under that.

Around 300 lbs.

The Verucci 49cc has a larger frame size and a max load of around 400 lbs.

Top speed for most China 49cc 4-stroke scooters is around 30 mph on level ground (slower on hills). If you need to keep up with 45 mph traffic, a 150cc scooter would be more suitable and has a top speed of around 55-60 mph. Check your regional craigslist > for sale > motorcycles for used scooter values . . Honda, Yamaha, Kymco.

The best way to determine the weight limit on the Schwinn Hope Scooter is to contact the manufacturer or a Dealer. The Dealer has been given that information with the vehicle desription when they inquired about it before they purchased it. They should keep that information, it should be disclosed upon viewing the bike on the Show floor. Now, this is two options, contact a Dealer that sells it, or contact the Manufacturer. Have the Make, Model and Year information when contacting them.
