Is 90 Minutes A Day On A Recumbent Bike Ideal For Weight Loss?

I have worked my way up to three sets of 30 minutes a day on my stationary recumbent bike. I need some motivation! Tell me the pounds are going to start melting off :)

That is great! You can do it, just keep it up. Even if the weight isn’t sliding off as fast as you would like (it never seems to for me) just remember that your body is loving the exercise!

They will – that’s an excellent way to go about it. Keep it up and you’ll be THRILLED with the results – and when you get there – don’t stop :)
Good for you! YaY! I’ve been cross country several times on my stationary bike – it WORKS!

Oh they will, but don’t burn yourself out! 60 min a day, 4-5 times a week is more than enough. Count your calories. 1 pound of fat takes 3500 calories. So between diet and exercise as long as you lose this much, weight has to drop! Congrats to you for having the motivation. You will see 1-2 lbs a week (if you are eating healthy and around 1200 calories a day) drop. It’ll go by quicker than you think. I lost 40 lbs and when I started it felt like forever, and then 7 months later I had done it.
