I Have A Brand New Brb 5200 Magnetic Recumbent Bike For Christmas. I Put It Together And When I Plugged It In?

I got a huge E1 on the screen. I assume it is some sort of error messege and it just beeps like crazy. I tried pressing all the buttons and nothing works. Can someone please please tell me how to fix this without having to send it back to the manufacturer!!!

    Can’t tell you the problem but several things you should do before sending back.
    - check your manual for trouble shooting info.
    - check maker’s web site for same.
    - contact maker via email or phone to trouble shoot
    If these actions fail to fix, then return it.
